Being a weatherman here in Arizona must be a very boring job. It is blue skies and warm temperatures every day with a little cooler at night. Athough I am sure it gets tedious and hot here in the summer. Meg and I took a stroll up to the local mountain to get a shot of our group of seven here in the desert outside of Bouse.
If all things work right clicking on the above photo should enlarge it and you’ll be better able to see the numbers. We are getting quite a little group here now.
1. Avery’s
2. Kendall’s
3. That’s Us
4. Meacham’s
5. McFall’s
6. Thurston’s
7. Clark’s
That hike up the mountain didn’t quite met the minimum for our morning strolls so we came back down and then continued all the way around the base of the hill before heading back home. On the way back down I spotted this little fellow hanging out on the side of the mountain.
The rest of the day was spent soaking up the sunshine back at the rig and then Happy Hour at Jim and Ellie’s this evening. Another beautiful day with good friends.

Sure beats sitting in a repair shop parking lot! :)
ReplyDeleteI know I keep saying it..but perfection in the making!!..a great spot to hang out with friends!!!
ReplyDeleteNice open spaces. Enjoy your time together.
ReplyDeleteI been meaning to mention that for those of us with 15 inch screens we never see all of your pictures. I'm sure the 14 inch and 12 inch fellows see less. But in my picture, there are only 5 campers, and I think the rest are off to the right somewhere.
ReplyDeleteI just love your panoramic view with each rig labelled ... How cool is that?
ReplyDeleteSure wish we were number 8 !!!!

It's getting crowded out there in the desert!
ReplyDeleteYou have to stop posting about the warm, sunny days you're enjoying. I spent most of yesterday cleaning up the 10" of heavy wet snow we had in the VA/DC area. You'd think we were living in Canada!
What a gathering! wish we could fill spot #8. I don't know if I could take all those 5 mile hikes. I do know I can make a good setter. Enjoy your stay.
