We’re Rollin’

We left the farm at about 11:30AM after getting everything buttoned up for the winter. Heat is down, water is off, shades are drawn, and as we walked out the door the lock wouldn’t work, so it was back to square one and tear that apart looking for the problem. After a little fiddling and a lot of swearing I finally got it locking like it should so hopefully it will continue to work for Matt.

We had the outfit all hooked up last night so we just had to set up the Brake Buddy and get in and git going. One stop to make at the pharmacy in Cochrane and we were heading south with nothing in front of us but the horizon.

We have stopped just a few miles north of the border, at Milk River, and are waiting there for our health insurance to kick in and then we are over the border, hopefully, early in the morning. Our first real stop is planned to be Big Timber where we are hoping to run into Mike and Janna and maybe eat some lunch or something like that. Then it is off to Billings and Brenda’s first American Wal-Mart in 17 or 18 months. I sure hope they have got that store stocked properly or there will be he!! to pay…..lol.

Till next time, we are traveling safe, you do too.

  6. Have a great trip and travel safely. I had to laugh when you said the lock wouldn't work as it seems the 'gremlins' always save one last thing to torture us with.
